VeltoDesk is a remote desktop product and website operated at veltodesk.com. This policy explains what information we may process when you visit the site or use the software.

What this software does

VeltoDesk lets you connect to computers remotely using an ID and, when configured, an access password. The content of a remote session belongs to the people who start and accept that connection. We do not monitor session activity as a service feature described here.

Website information

When you browse the marketing site, our servers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages, as needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Account and contact data

If you use a customer portal, sign-up, or contact form, we process the details you submit (for example email and message content) to respond and operate the related service.

Local preference cookie

Downloads and app usage

Downloading the app may involve your device requesting installer files from our servers or partners. Inside the app, connection details you enter (such as a remote ID) are used to establish the session you request.

Retention

Technical logs are kept only as long as useful for security and operations. Contact messages are kept as needed to handle your request.
